I am an Optometrist & Entrepreneur. During my early days in college, I had built Dalton’s Pseudoisochromatic Plates, the worlds best tool to detect congenital colorblindness in less than 6 seconds. With the support of my Principal & professors, the tool has now screened more than One Million Children in India & Nepal. Almost all the reputed Tertiary Eye Care Hospitals in India & Nepal are using “Dalton’s PIP” in their out patient department. Fast forward I have been building products through my companies that can solve some of the complex problems in Healthcare like Anterior Eye ‘Segment’ Diagnostics & Myopia management/treatment. During that same phase I was introduced to Google’s machine learning algorithms on automated retinal disease assessment shortly ARDA Project. At that time Google collaborated with tertiary Eye Hospitals in India to develop a reliable A.I solution. This in turn made me to analyze & identify new challenges with Data further leading to creation of new startups in the field of DataScience with the help of my past experiences and challenges that I had faced.
